My name is Tali and what I enjoy the most is teaching you to make fragrant and stunning candles. I am originally a biologist with a master's degree and after years of working for pharmaceutical companies in the field of marketing, I decided to embark on a new path.
What is the process you will go through in the workshop at my place?
We will start with a short introductory conversation where I will tell you about me and you will tell what brought you to Rehovot :), after that we will continue and go through a magical journey together where I will teach you to differentiate between the types of wax that are currently on the market and how to combine them. What is suitable for candles in a vessel and what for silicone molds.
We will learn to combine the right wick for the candle and calculate exactly its thickness so that it fits the tool and finish all the wax and not leave a hole in the middle, like many candles you probably bought did to you. We will also go over types of colors and of course we will learn about essential oils and fragrances, differences and how to use them.
In the second step, each one of you will make two candles, one in a stunning transparent glass vessel, we will learn to make a candle in layers and calculate the exact amount of scent for each layer and another candle in a black metal vessel with a special wooden wick. And finally, everyone will decorate their candle with flowers and those who wish can also embed a message or a blessing in the drum of the candle with special beads that will only be revealed when the candle starts to burn.

The workshop takes place on Friday mornings 11:00-13:00
in groups of up to 8 people
