What I love is clean, non-greasy, non-shedding hair, and my shampoo provides exactly that – with lots and lots of foam!
How to use the solid shampoo? The simplest thing: wet your hair, apply the shampoo to your wet hair, and immediately you will see how it starts to bubble and create a luxurious lather. In fact, if you are not careful, it can produce even more lather than regular shampoo!
How does it clean? My solid shampoo is made with plant-based surfactants, making it friendly to your hair and scalp. It contains no harmful ingredients like SLS, sulfates, and parabens, but instead, it gently cleanses your hair, leaving it healthy and refreshed.
What are surfactants? Simply put, they are molecules that have two sides: one side that sticks to water and the other side that sticks to oil. This is what allows shampoo to thoroughly clean hair.
What else is in the shampoo? In addition to surfactants, the shampoo contains other ingredients that give hair softness and nourishment, such as hydrolyzed rice protein to penetrate the hair, natural butters such as kokum butter and cocoa butter, and nourishing oils such as argan oil and castor oil.
The special ingredients I grind a little rosemary, which helps the scalp and keeps lice away, lavender flowers that add a wonderful and soothing scent, and nettle that helps prevent dandruff. The essential oils added to the shampoo – lavender, rosemary, clary sage, and ylang-ylang – contribute to both the wonderful scent and the health of the hair.
And what about the conditioner? In addition to the shampoo, I decided to add a conditioner that consists of cocoa butter, shea butter, argan oil, jojoba, rice protein, and essential oils. This conditioner is easy to use, and all you have to do is apply it to your hair and rinse. The result? Hair that's as soft as butter.
I'm already totally in love with the solid trend, it saves me space in my bag and ensures that no liquids spill on my clothes. My solid shampoo can last a good few months if used correctly, making it an ideal hair care solution.
